Ramon de Oliveira has enjoyed an illustrious career in the world of finance. From the late 1980s to early 2000s, he was a senior executive at JP Morgan and even secured a spot on the company's executive committee. He also spearheaded the transition of JP Morgan over to its current owner, Chase Manhattan Bank, as well as the acquisition of a major stake in the American Century mutual funds group.
As a result of his great work, de Oliveira was awarded the honor of Chevalier des Arts et Lettres by the French government for his immense contributions to his community and country.
For the past 14 years, de Oliveira has been running RdeO Consulting LLC, providing strategic advice and communications on investments. In addition to this, he has held significant roles on various company boards including AXA Group, Hartford Insurance Company and Kaufmann Foundation. He was also influential in Antin Infrastructure Partners and chaired Investment Committee of Polish and American Freedom Foundation.
Moreover, de Oliveira has given back to society through education as well - he served as an adjunct professor in finance at both Columbia University and New York University. And not just limited to professional endeavours, de Oliveira has also dedicated much time towards charity work over the last decade such as supporting leadership of Kauffman Foundation or celebrating Argentinean tango dance with special productions.
